Webb “pulls the plug” on health reform

“It is vital that we restore the respect of the American people in our system of government and in our leaders.  To that end, I believe it would only be fair and prudent that we suspend further votes on health care legislation until Sen.-elect Brown is seated.” – Sen. Jim Webb

I’m still searching in vain for Sen. Webb’s past statement that Senate votes should be suspended during the 8 months it took to seat Sen. Al Franken and give Democrats the 60th vote to block Republican filibusters.

Republicans take no prisoners; Democrats surrender without a fight.

  1. Question Says:

Surrender? You don’t find it at all intriguing that you are asking yourself ‘What would Reagan do?’ That would be fine but is that’s the way you want to win? You really think Democrats surrender without a fight? You really think Democrats need to act like Republicans to win a fight?

Since when are you in the business of comparing yourself to Republicans?
