Stimulus is working
According to major economic research firms IHS Global Insight, Macroeconomic Advisers and Moody’s Economy, the Democratic stimulus bill has added 1.6 million to 1.8 million jobs so far and that its ultimate impact will be roughly 2.5 million jobs. The CBO considers these estimates to be conservative.

Some real world testimony:
Freight shows signs of picking up. While this is typically the slowest time of year during even the best of times, I have been having some pretty good weeks. My personal experience is matched by many of the reports I am hearing from other truck drivers. Times are not yet good, but they are greatly improved over last year this time.
I serve as almost a lone voice on the CB radio giving credit to Obama’s leadership for helping us to avoid a depression. Oh yeah, I agree deficit spending is a big problem. Hopefully the economy improves enough that I can go back to being a deficit hawk!
